JUNIOR SQUADS HEADING FOR NAIL BITING FINISHES (UPDATE 27 JULY)
Championship places and promotion opportunities will be decided over the next month with all 5 junior teams seeking honours.

Last weekend saw the U11 Joeys edge out Glen Eira in a close 4 - 2 victory to stay league leaders by 3 points. The U11 Kangaroos disposed of Nunawading 2 - 0 yet still only hold on to the top position by the narrowest of goal differences to South Melbourne.

The U12As suffered a shock 2 - 1away defeat to Whitehorse Eagles and are now placed close to 3 or 4 other teams that will be fighting for Super League qualification in 2007. The U12s have a game in hand over their rivals and could realistically finish in 2nd place, however nothing less than a top 5 will be sufficient to take them to the next level next season.

In the U13B league, a second successive defeat in a week has ended title hopes and now a top 3 finish is the goal to be offered a chance of promotion to the 14A Division in 2007. The U13 Super League secured a solid 3 - 0 victory over form team Dandenong City. The team is in second place, but has a game in hand which will be played early next week.
