JUNIORS ROUND 15 SUMMARY (6 AUGUST)
The season is drawing to a very exciting final 3 rounds for Monash City Junior teams. On Sunday the U11 Joeys defeated Glen Waverley 5 - 0 and only need two more wins to secure the championship. A 3 - 0 win to the U11 Kangaroos keeps them on top of their division still by narrow goal difference. Round 16 will see the Kangaroos take on South Melbourne for the championship decider in two weeks.
In the 12A division, Monash fell to South Melbourne 0 - 2. Despite dominating the game, they were unable to take their chances and face a tense final three games to qualify for the 2007 Super League. The loss sees the team drop to the last qualifying position of 5th place with Whitehorse Eagles only 2 pts behind in 6th position.
The U13B team had a much needed 2 - 1 away win over Eastern Lions and consolidate in 4 th position. There is still a chance of the team finishing third, but they face a tough away fixture at second placed Boronia in two weeks. The U13 Super League defeated Beaumaris by 4 - 0 and will now face Box Hill next weekend which may decide the championship.
