MASSIVE WINS FOR ALL JUNIOR TEAMS (UPDATE 31 JULY)
Monash junior league teams all recorded victories on Sunday, scoring a combined total of 36 goals across 5 games, with only 1 conceded. That is an average of 7 goals per team.
The U11 Joeys and U11 Kangaroos both stay top of their tables with large goal-scoring encounters and are looking good to take championship honours with only 4 rounds remaining.
The U12 A team thrashed bottom side Glen Waverley 11 - 0 and move into third position. The team have set themselves up for their most important game next Sunday when they take on South Melbourne who are causing havoc in the 12 A league after defeating second place Richmond 2 - 1. There is nothing in it in arguably the closest league contest in this age group for the past few seasons, and a cut throat final 4 games awaits the top 6 sides during August.
The U13 B team got back to wining ways with a 7 - 0 victory and stays comfortable in 4th position. The U13 Super League had a narrow 2 - 1 win against relegation threatened Knox City and was happy to get all 3 points. The team has a chance to lead the Super League tomorrow night when it plays out its catch up game against Bulleen who are currently in third place.
