Two weeks remain of the junior season and it looks like all Monash teams will have done themselves proud. A clean-sweep of the U11 Joeys and Kangaroos divisions looks likely following the Joeys 4 - 0 thrashing of Springvale City, and Kangaroos dramatic 1 - 0 to champion rivals South Melbourne. A single goal in the first half was enough to take the 3 points and place the Kangaroos firmly in the lead with two routine games remaining.
The U12As are still in the fight for 2007 Super League qualification following a 2 - 2 draw at third place Richmond. After leading 2 - 0 at half time, the team suffered a late equaliser following a freakish long-range lob over the Monash keeper in the last 2 minutes. A win from their final two games will be enough to make the playoffs.
The U13 Super League team bounced back from last weeks defeat to defeat Gippsland 2 - 1. The win keeps them in a chance of the title if they can also win their remaining two games and Box Hill drop points at Bulleen in the last game of the season. The U13 B had a friendly game due to their bye and played out a 2 - 2 draw.
