Womens Premier League player and former State and Regional team representative, Savanna Ferns, has taken position as our new U10 Girls Team Coach for 2007. Savanna herself started in a boys U7 team many years ago, and played with boys up to U12s age group in an era when girls teams only started at the U14 age group. In 2005, the first U10 girls competition was initiated by the FFV and has since exploded.

The girls are age between 7 to 9 and have only been together for a couple of weeks. They made a solid start to their careers losing narrowly in their first game to Richmond by 1 goal to nil.
