Three of our Monash City U14 Super League players, Billy Liolios, James Muscara and Marcus Schroen, have been selected to represent Victoria at the forthcoming National Championships to be held during the September school holidays. A fourth Monash player, Jordan Michaelis, just missed selection at the final cut. 10 players in our U14 squad made the final 60 during the earlier stages of the selection process.

The boys will have an opportunity to impress national selectors for a proposed U15 Australian team in 2008. The players must now endure a busy training and game schedule to prepare them for the championships. We wish them the best of luck in the competition.

The Club has been notified by Football Federation Victoria that former Monash City Super League player, Steven O' Dor, has signed a professional contract with A-League club Wellington Phoenix. Steven played as a centre-back against Melbourne Victory in a recent pre-season cup game helping Phoenix to a 2 - 1 victory. Steven was recently at the Australian Institute of Sport and played the earlier part of this season with South Melbourne in the Victorian Premier League.
