JANUARY 2008 UPDATE
Our pre-season has been underway for 7 weeks now and we will be looking at finalising the squad within the next 3-4 weeks. Thank-you to all the parents and boys who have attended thus far. I have been enormously impressed by the standards of the players I have seen.
We will still be running a squad of 15 this season. I anticipate a number of new additions to last years squad. I would think that boys who have played 11A last year for their respective teams would be at an advanced technical level to enjoy playing at Monash.
  
 
 
Season 2008
Monash have qualified for 12A. We are holding trial in November through to January 08 for all interested kids to take part. Please check the website for the 1st session. I would recommend coming to at least 4 trials as it normally takes a few sessions for your child to be relaxed. I envisage recruiting new players into my squad. Because the standard of football is very high in our division, I expect to run a squad of 15 this year which will mean that we bring new talent into the team.
I am a technical coach who enjoys improving each childs basic skills and building from there. This year I will be designing specific individual training programmes for each squad member. This will mean by the end of next season each kid will have improved skill levels in ALL parts of their game and understand how this 'beautiful game' is played. 
We operate an open, considerate culture within our team and I personally welcome any child to become part of out set-up, regardless of colour, nationality or religion.
